• My Safe Florida Home Program
  The My Safe Florida Home program helps Floridians identify how they can strengthen their homes against hurricanes and to reduce hurricane damage exposure in our state. Currently, the state is offering matching grants up to $5000.00 for specific home improvements identified in state home inspection reports. • "Granny Flats" Exemption was adopted by the Martin County Board of Commissioners effective for the 2007 tax roll.
  
  
• Additional Senior Citizen's Low Income Homestead Exemption
  The Martin County Board of Commisioners increased the Low Income Senior Exemption from $10,000 to $25,000 effective for the 2007 tax roll.
